About The Author

Joan Epp

Joan Epp is a teacher and farmer who recently retired to begin her next adventure as a gramma and a children’s author. She has lived in scenic southwestern Ontario all of her 60 young years. She currently resides near Lake Erie and a national Park where nature continues to inspire her writing.

Although she has written many stories with and for her students and grandchildren, Ice Cap will be her first officially published children’s book. You’ll want to chime in as you read about this modern day snowman who slides into the story on a snowboard and stays to melt your heart!
